Lodox shown at the Manchester Trauma Conference 2009
Lodox had its first public appearance in the UK at the International Trauma Conference in Manchester at the end of November.
Some 300 delegates were able to see our equipment first hand at the exhibition. It was well received and having Prof. Ken Boffard from Johannesburg, who was one of the main speakers at the conference on hand, helped getting the message across that Lodox is the finest piece of equipment available in Trauma and Triage.
A very well known Radioligist in the UK and also a speaker at the conference, Otto Chan, who is a cast in stone supporter of CT, was so impressed that at the end of his talk he said! And I quote “The only thing I would swap my CT scanner for, is a Lodox Machine”
Our stand was visited by numerous delegates and very important Medical people from all over and it is apparent that everyone would love to have our equipment at their disposal.
On hand to answer questions and offer advice, was Pieter de Beer, Andre and Warren Verwey, Marty Kulis and Carlos Sousa.
Lodox UK are offering the machines to recognised medical facilities, free of charge, but on a cost per use basis. Considering the present financial climate, this has also made an enormous impact. This means that clients can now acquire the equipment without having to spend their capex budget and at the end of a three year contract, they get a brand new machine. Keeping them at the forefront of technology.
We are in contact with a number of potential users and hope to do our first installation in the UK during the first Quarter of 2010.
