Following our recent good impact in the forensic imaging market, Lodox sponsored two prizes at the recent Pathvine conference held at Somerset West in South Africa.
The prize for the best talk went to Marilize Burger, an M.Sc. student from the University of Stellenbosch. Her talk was entitled: “Profiling the approach to the investigation of viral infections in cases of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infants (SUDI) in the Western Cape Province”.
The prize for the best poster: “Suicidal tandem gunshot wound to the head - A case report” went to Dr Steven Afonso, Division of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, UCT.
Lodox’s CEO, Pieter de Beer, hands over Marilize’s prize.
